cant find database

new database doesnt scan.host:localhost port:5432
username:postgres
password:postgrespass

database ,name:holdemmanager
type:holdem manager

this is what i got onmy screen and realy wwant to know what to change because when i click ,save database, he says :could not connect to dataase ,please make sure all database settings are correct ,

Well, the question is do you have a HoldemManager database installed?

If so, then you probably need to change the username/password. Here is a thread which explains a way to set up your postgres to accept any password:
