how does software determine table vpip/pfr?

Pretty much what the title states. Does it pull this information from the lobby or is there something else there that it derives this data from?

It is an average VPIP/PFR of the "Known Players" at the table. A "Known Player" is by default anyone with >50 hands, this can be updated at Configure > Advanced > Define
