View Full Version : TableScan Turbo AppCrash
Hello,
I registered here in these forum after hours of trying to get this program to work again. I recently had to format my system, I reinstalled TableScan Turbo and now I can't get the App to start.
My operating sytem is Windows 7 64bit, had the program running on Windows 7 before, but now it just wont start.
I have attached a screenshot of the error I am getting.

I seem to have problems running a couple of other programs and they have mscorwks.dll as the fault Module name. i have googled, and it seems it has something to do the .NET Framework, but Windows 7 comes preinstalled with .NET Framework.
Any help is appreciated

Yes, it definitely sounds like a .NET error, have you tried installing .NET 2.0

Try installing the x64 one first, and if that doesn't work try the x86, I don't think it can hurt anything and you can uninstall them if it doesn't help. Actually I think the x86 might be more likely to work because TST and the poker clients are not x64 programs, they are installed to the x86 directory
If you're gonna scan FTP you may also need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package

Another thought is make sure you downloaded the "Full Install" from the download page and not the update, the update does not include the postgresql connection files, npgsql.dll and mono.security.dll, maybe that is causing the error but seems unlikely
And also if you have UAC on, make sure to run TST "As Admin"
Hey,
thanks for the quick reply.
I tried to install both of them, but neither of them worked.
The 64bit one told me, already installed as part of my operating system.
The 32bit one told me, the product is not supported on a 64bit system.
Thanks

Ok, try this:
http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/KB913384/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=771
It is the hotfix which is recommended a lot when searching google for this problem, here is the webpage for the hotfix:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913384
Another common suggestion is to uninstall/reinstall the .NET framework
It also seems like possibly it could be caused by antivirus software, if you have any running try disabling it and see if that has any effect
