Temporary Freezes during Scan

First of all, my greatest thanks to a developer of this software. It is just great.

However I do have a problem. I use it under Windows XP SP3 for PokerStars. The database is from PT3.
When I start to scan tables, or when players scan is started, or when I double-click table name in TableScan, Windows stops to respond for about 5 seconds.
At first I thought this is caused by Avast on-access protection, therefore I switched it off. This does not changed anything.

Any thoughts how to resolve?

TableScan has to turn off "ClearType" font smoothing to read the PokerStars lobby. I have seen very rarely a few times where TableScan's turning off ClearType causes a temporary freeze on a few people's computers, that is my guess as to whats happening to you. The only solution I know of is to turn off ClearType yourself before you open TableScan. The way to do that is first close TableScan, then:

Right click on your Desktop > Properties > Appearance tab > click the "Effects" button and in that window there is an option called "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts: ", make sure that is unchecked, hit OK/Apply
