Hi!

After the FTP-update the FTP-client is always crashing down, when you join a table while the Scanner is scanning tables.

My PC is prett new + had never probs in this direction before this update -> hence I don`t think that this is b/c of a problem of my pc.

Is this bug maybe already known?

Best regards,
Placebo;)

Hmm, that sucks, no I haven't heard that before today :(

Is there possibly another software involved that could be part of it? I can't really reproduce any crashing on my end, opening tables, even multiple tables at once during a scan seems fine to me.

Is it like, every time you do something it crashes? Or just once in a while? Like, if you opened 100 tables during a scan, how many times would it crash out of those 100? Is there specific conditions you've noticed that I could try to reproduce to get it to crash on my comp?

Could you add me on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype? Also it might be helpful actually if you just zipped and emailed me your /config/ folder, if you want to exclude your buddy_list.config thats fine, i think specifically what i want to see is the settings.config,

MSN: zandry@tablescanturbo.com
ICQ: 571846001
Skype: ZandryTST

Also, could you go to Help > Logging > Verbose and turn that on? The way it works is, it saves a file with only your last scan (lastscan-verbose.log) in C:\Program Files\TableScan Turbo\logs\ So when you it crashes, you need to go to the folder and make a copy of the file before you try another scan, then email me the file. It probably wont be that helpful but it's worth a try

One more thought i'm having, are you saying it crashes when joining waitlists or when opening tables, or either? Do you have the option in FTP "Options > Always join invidual waiting list" turned on, or off? Maybe the popup coming up during a scan is somehow related to the crashing? Assuming you have it off, if you turn that option on, does that improve it at all?

mine is just once in a while.. but usually once in a session.

I have just released TableScan v0.50b, I think I solved the crash, please try it out and let me know if there's any improvement. And if you see another crash, try to remember or write down exactly what was happening when it crashed if you can.

Also, I sent you a PM so check your PM's on this forum :)
